Together with my classmates, we developed this project for our Orientamento e Civica course around a question that felt urgent and unresolved: why does a woman who says no still surprise us?

Antigone was our starting point — not as a school topic to explain, but as a provocation to activate. We chose video as our format because we wanted something visceral, not academic. The result is a 7-minute manifesto: a sequence of voices, pauses and accusations that moves from Sophocles to today without apology.

The script was built around tension — between obedience and conscience, between law and justice, between what is expected of women and what women actually are. Every word was a choice. Every silence too.
